1st update
For you beer geeks: I observed a bubble in the airlock every second, after only 3 hours in the primary fermenter. Ahh! black & tans for all!

epilogue: OK I had a couple of beers, caught a bit of the game, ate a little of that bacon explosion thing, and am now very sleepy. The beer is resting now and the little yeast critters are going about their business. I'll update this blog as developments warrant. Thank You and good night.
